Viewing image files stored in your CLIÉ handheld

On the Application Launcher screen, rotate the Jog Dial navigator to select PG Pocket, and then press the Jog Dial navigator.
The PictureGear Pocket application starts.



2 Tap the arrow on the top center of the screen to select Internal.

Rotated the Jog Dial navigator to display the desired image file, then press the Jog Dial navigator.
Or, tap the desired image.
The selected image is displayed according to screen size.

When you want to hide icons displayed at the bottom of your CLIÉ handheld screen, tap .
When you want to display them again, tap the screen. You can also press the Jog Dial navigator or the BACK button to display the icons again.

If you want to view a detailed information of the displayed image, tap .
Details information for the image file appears.



To return to the photo list screen, tap Close or press the BACK button.

When you want to show another image file, rotate the Jog Dial navigator.
Another image file appears.
7 To return to the photo list screen. Tap on the lower right of the screen.
Magnifying/reducing image files
1 Tap while the image file is displayed.

Rotate the Jog Dial navigator to magnify the image file.
When you press the Jog Dial navigator, the image file is automatically magnified on the screen.
If you rotate the Jog Dial navigator counter-clockwise, the image is magnified. If you rotate the Jog Dial navigator clockwise, the image is reduced.
3 If part of the image is outside the bounds of the screen, you can pan by dragging on the screen with your stylus.
4 To return to the photo list screen, press the BACK button.
Note
In DCF format image file, original image data and thumbnail data are recorded. The PictureGear Pocket application displays the thumbnail view of an image data first, and then displays the original image in high resolution. Some image files may thus take some time to be displayed.
Attaching the files to e-mails (CLIE Mail)
You can attach the files managed in the PictureGear Pocket application to e-mail messages using the CLIE Mail application. This function is available only when you have the CLIE Mail application installed on your CLIÉ handheld.

Tap while the image file is displayed.
When you going to attach the PGP format image, the confirmation dialog box appears.
When you convert it to the DCF format, tap Yes. The image is attached to your e-mail.

Follow steps 4 to 6 of Writing and sending e-mail.
Note
If you select Send Now, the screen jumps to the Outbox list screen of the CLIE Mail application. If you select Send Later, the screen returns to PictureGear Pocket.
Drawing on image files (CLIE Paint)
You can draw and paint on a PGP format image file stored on your CLIÉ handheld with the CLIE Paint application. To start the CLIE Paint application, tap while the image file is displayed.
Changing the image file list screen
You can change the image file list screen to display items by name and date, or by thumbnail image.



By name and date (List mode)
