Storing sound data on your CLIÉ handheld
Using the Sound Converter 2 software, you can convert WAVE format and SMF format sound data on your computer to the format compatible with your CLIÉ handheld. The converted data can be played on your CLIÉ handheld by transferring it via a HotSync operation.

The transferred sound data may not be recorded as alarm sound when the amount of memory available on the CLIÉ handheld is insufficient.
In this case, make some memory space available for transferring data and repeat the procedure again.
Note on sound data transferred to your CLIÉ handheld
The sound data transferred to your CLIÉ handheld is stored in either IMA ADPCM-format (System ADPCM Sounds.pdb) or Standard MIDI file-format (System MIDI Sounds.pdb).
If you delete these files, all sound data of the same format will be lost. It is recommended for you to back up using the CLIE Files application.
