You do not need to install the Data Import application on your CLIÉ™ handheld, because it is pre-installed at the factory.

Install the Data Export software on your computer using the Installation CD-ROM provided.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window is displayed.
If the installation launcher window is not displayed, click the CD-ROM drive icon in Windows® Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click CLIÉ Utilities in the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for Data Export.
The software installation starts. Data Export is installed, followed by the CLIE SCSI Driver software.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Click Finish.
The installation is complete.
The shortcut icon for Data Export is displayed on the desktop screen of your computer after the installation.
