You can use the Macromedia Flash Player 5 application to play Macromedia Flash™ contents.
Play Macromedia Flash™ contents
You can play SWF-format Macromedia Flash™ contents that you have downloaded from the Internet.
You need to copy the SWF-format Macromedia Flash™ contents downloaded from the Internet to the storage media, such as a “Memory Stick™ ” media or the Internal Media
Before starting the Macromedia Flash Player application, you need to download SWF-format Macromedia Flash™ contents from the Internet and transfer them to your CLIÉ™ handheld via storage media by one of the following ways:
Using Data Import/Data Export applications.
Copying the Macromedia Flash™ contents to a storage media using the Data Import application.
Start the Data Import application. Then, insert a storage media into your CLIÉ™ handheld, and connect it to the computer. Your CLIÉ™ handheld is recognized as a removable drive on your computer. Copy the Macromedia Flash™ contents to /PALM/PROGRAMS/MMFlash/ folder using Windows® Explorer.
Note on Macromedia Flash™ contents
Macromedia Flash™ contents are widely used and provided on the Internet. However, most contents are created for playback on computers, and thus may not play back on your CLIÉ™ handheld.
You may not be able to play back Macromedia Flash™ contents properly under following conditions
When the data size is large.
Some Macromedia Flash™ content requires space twice its size available on your CLIÉ™ handheld. Make sure to have sufficient space on your CLIÉ™ handheld before starting the playback.
When the memory is running low on your CLIÉ™ handheld.
When your CLIÉ™ handheld is connected to the network.
The supplied Installation CD-ROM provides some sample of Macromedia Flash™ contents. Copy them into your CLIÉ™ handheld by the following ways.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer.
The Startup screen appears. Click Finish.

Double-click My Computer on the Windows desktop.
If there is not My Computer icon on the desktop, click Start, then click My Computer. A CD-ROM Drive icon appears. Right-click CD-ROM Drive icon, and then click Open from a pop-up menu.

Double-click the CLIE Applications folder.
The Flash Player Samples folder appears. Samples of Macromedia Flash™ contents (swf files) are in this folder.

Copy samples of Macromedia Flash™ contents into your CLIÉ™ handheld by the following procedures in “Transferring Macromedia Flash contents from your computer”.
Play it on your CLIÉ™ handheld.
