Installing CLIE Mail
Installing the CLIE Mail application on your CLIÉ handheld
You can install the CLIE Mail application and the CLIE Mail Conduit software from the supplied Installation CD-ROM. Before installation, be sure to have the Palm Desktop for CLIÉ software installed on your computer, and have the CLIÉ handheld seated correctly on the cradle.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
The installation launcher window appears. If the installation launcher screen does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click CLIÉ Desktop from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for CLIÉ Add-ons.

Click on the check box and select CLIE Mail. Then, click Next.

Select user name and click OK.
Install Tool screen appears.

Click Done.

Click Finish on the installation launcher window.

Press the HotSync button on the cradle.
The HotSync operation starts and the CLIE Mail application will be transferred to your CLIÉ handheld.
Installing the CLIE Mail Conduit software on your computer
To synchronize e-mail messages between your computer and your CLIÉ handheld, you must install the CLIE Mail Conduit software. Install the CLIE Mail Conduit software from the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
The installation launcher window appears. The installation launcher window appears. If the installation launcher screen does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click CLIÉ Utilities from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for the CLIE Mail Conduit software.
The software installation starts.
Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the installation.

Click Finish.
The installation is complete. Restart your computer.
