Or, tap the Movie Rec icon on the CLIE Launcher screen.
The Movie Recorder application starts.
2
Adjust the screen position, and aim the lens at the subject.
The display screen and the lens can be rotated to face you or face away from you. When the lens is turned toward you, a mirror image will be displayed on the screen, but recorded image will be in a reverted image.

Or, tap the REC icon on the screen. The captured image will be recorded on a “Memory Stick” media.
Notes
The recording stops when you turn off your CLIÉ handheld.
You can record images with the screen panel closed (closed style). The recording continues if you close the screen panel after starting the Movie Recorder application.
When you set the HOLD button to write-protect position while recording, the recording will not stop using the CAPTURE/REC button or REC icon on your CLIÉ handheld.
Do not remove the “Memory Stick” media while recording.
The recording stops automatically when space is running short on “Memory Stick” media. You may still be able to record a short movie on the same “Memory Stick” media, but this is not a malfunction.
You may not be able to create a movie file if the recording was interrupted in such ways described below.
- When you have removed the “Memory Stick” media during recording.
- When battery level was running low. This may happen when you start recording while charging the battery and remove the CLIÉ handheld from the cradle.
Zooming in
You can zoom in on the subject you are aiming at to record in closer view.
Tap (zoom) and select the desired zoom level (x 1 or x 2).
The subject you are currently aiming at is recorded in the selected zoom level.
