The Giga Pocket Plugin is a software application for Sony VAIO(R) computers.
If you are using a Sony VAIO(R) computer with the Giga Pocket software installed,
you can view TV programs stored on your computer with your CLIÉ(TM) handheld by converting files using this application.

Giga Pocket Plugin functions
You can convert movie images to the format compatible for your CLIÉ(TM) handheld. The converted image files are transferred to a “Memory Stick(TM)” media.
Compatible file formats
You can convert movie files recorded in the following formats to the formats compatible to your CLIÉ(TM) handheld.
To play the converted movie image files on your CLIÉ(TM) handheld, use the Movie Player application.
To play the converted movie image files on your CLIÉ(TM) handheld, use the Movie Player application.

Note

On movie images
When you convert movie images using the Giga Pocket Plugin software, you can store the data for following length of time on a “Memory Stick(TM)” media (not supplied).

Note
You need to install the Giga Pocket Plugin software to your computer using the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. The installation launcher window appears.If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows(R) Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe. |

Click CLIÉ Image from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for the Giga Pocket Plugin software.
The software installation starts.Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the installation. |

Click Finish.
The installation is complete.
