The Giga Pocket Plugin is a plugin for converting and transferring the TV programs recorded on a Sony VAIO computer with TV tuner to the CLIÉ handheld.

You can convert TV programs recorded with the Giga Pocket software supplied with some VAIO computers to the format compatible with your CLIÉ handheld.
You can then transfer the converted movie files via a “Memory Stick” media to view them on your CLIÉ handheld.

Compatible file formats
You can convert movie files to Movie Player format, a file format compatible with your CLIÉ handheld.
To play the converted movie image files on your CLIÉ handheld, use the Movie Player application.

Note
The approximate length of converted movie files that can be stored on a “Memory Stick” media (not supplied) is as follows.
It will be different for the movie images captured with the Movie Recorder application.

You will need to install the Giga Pocket Plugin on your computer
Install the Giga Pocket Plugin on your computer using
the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. The installation launcher window appears.If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon in Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe. |

Click the next button.

Click the Install Giga Pocket Plugin button.
The installation starts.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. |

Click Exit on the installation launcher window.
The installation is complete.
