PictureGear Studio functions   

 PictureGear Studio   Ver.1.0

PictureGear Studio is software for your computer.
You can edit still image files and movie image files, and manage them as a photo album or binder. You can also exchange binders with your CLIÉ handheld.
You will need to install the PictureGear Studio software on your computer
Install the PictureGear Studio software on your computer using the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window appears.
If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click the Next button.

Click the Install PictureGear Studio button.
The software installation starts.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Click Exit on the installation launcher window.
The installation is complete.
Refer to the Help files of the PictureGear Studio software for operating instructions.
To view the Help, click Start, select Program (All Programs in Windows XP), PictureGear Studio, and then click PictureGear Studio and start the PictureGear Studio software. Then, click the Help icon.

You can create following two types of album.
Note that there are some limitations when exchanging albums between the PictureGear Studio software and the CLIE Album application.
Photo album
• You can add comments to the still images pasted on a page. This is useful when managing photographs.
• You can transfer and view the photo albums created with the CLIE Album application to the computer, but you cannot transfer the photo albums created with the PictureGear Studio software to the CLIE Album application.
Binder
• You can add detailed information such as comments, title, and date. This is useful when you have certain theme for your collection of still images. There are number of layouts provided, and you can also create original layout for your binder.
• You can exchange the binders between the CLIE Album application and the PictureGear Studio software.
