Using the CLIE Camera S application, you can take pictures with the camera on your CLIÉ handheld.
Take a picture
You can take a picture using your CLIÉ handheld like a digital still camera using the CLIE Camera S application. The pictures you have taken can be stored on your CLIÉ handheld or a “Memory Stick” media in JPEG* format.
*The recorded image is stored on your CLIÉ handheld or a “Memory Stick” media in JPEG (DCF) format. DCF (Design rule for Camera Files System) format is an industry standard format for storing image files established by JEITA (Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association).
You can enjoy still images captured on your CLIÉ handheld using other applications

You can also edit JPEG (DCF)-format images with a photo retouch software on your computer.
You do not need to install CLIE Camera S on your CLIÉ handheld
The CLIE Camera S application is pre-installed at the factory.
Requirements
“Memory Stick” media: You can store image files on a “Memory Stick” media as well as on your CLIÉ handheld.
