Set your CLIÉ handheld to turned style, and aim the lens at the subject.
You can record yourself by setting the CLIÉ handheld to opened style. A mirror image of yourself will be displayed on the viewfinder, but the recorded image will be a reverted image. |

Tap focus button as necessary.
The setting switches between [Normal*]/[Macro] as you tap the button.You can also adjust the focal distance during recording. * The default setting |

Press the CAPTURE button.
Or, tap the REC icon on the screen. The recording starts. |

Press the CAPTURE button again to stop recording.
Or, tap the REC icon on the screen. The captured image will be recorded on a Memory Stick media. |

| You can record images with the screen panel closed (closed style). The recording also continues when you close the screen panel after starting the Movie Recorder application. | ||||||
| If you set the HOLD button to the write-protect position during recording mode, the recording will not stop using the CAPTURE button or REC icon on your CLIÉ handheld. | ||||||
| Do not remove the Memory Stick media while recording. | ||||||
| The recording stops automatically when space is running short on Memory Stick media. You may still be able to record a short movie on the same Memory Stick media, but this is not a malfunction. | ||||||
| You may not be able to create a movie file if the recording was interrupted in any of the following ways.

Tap (zoom) and select a desired zoom level (x 1 or x 2).
The subject you are currently aiming at is recorded in the selected zoom level.
