Installing

The Sound Utility application is pre-installed at the factory. This section describes how to install the Sound Converter software.

Installing the Sound Converter software on your computer

Install the Sound Converter software on your computer using the supplied Installation CD-ROM.
Before installation, be sure to have the Palm Desktop for CLIÉ software installed on your computer.

1	Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. The installation launcher window appears. If the installation launcher screen did not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.
2	Click CLIÉ Utilities from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.
3	Click the Install button for the Sound Converter software. The software installation starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4	Click Finish.

Starting the Sound Converter software

Click Start, select Program (All Programs in Windows XP), Sound Converter, then click Sound Converter.
