Install the SonicStage software onto the hard disk of your computer using
the supplied Installation CD-ROM.
For details on the file types compatible with the SonicStage software, refer to the SonicStage Help.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computers CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window appears.
If the installation launcher screen did not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe. |

Click CLIÉ Audio from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for the SonicStage software.
The software installation starts.
Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the installation. |

Click Finish.
The installation ends. Restart your computer.

Be sure to install the software before placing your CLIÉ handheld in the transfer mode.
Do not install the software while the USB cable is connected to your computer.

If the Installing: message continues to appear without advancing to the
next step for some time, click the InstallShield Wizard on the task bar. The task bar appears when you press the Windows key on your computer.

Do not delete, move, or edit the installed folders using Windows Explorer or any other application.
If you do so, the SonicStage database may become unstable or damaged.

Do not simultaneously press the Alt key and the Tab key of your computer during the installation process.

For Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional users: Click Start, Shutdown, and then select Log off. When the Log on screen is displayed, log on with the user name Administrator and then start the installation of SonicStage software. |

For Windows 2000 users: When you restart the computer after installing the software and displacing the installation CD-ROM, a warning message may appear. Click Cancel and proceed your operation. |
