Using the Audio Player application, you can play MP3-format audio files and ATRAC3-format audio files on your CLIÉ handheld. To play music from audio CDs on your CLIÉ handheld, convert them to ATRAC3-format audio files using the supplied SonicStage software on your computer before using this application.

You need a “Memory Stick” media to play audio files
There are two types of “Memory Stick” media: Standard “Memory Stick” media (color: purple) and “MagicGate Memory Stick” media (color: white).
You can play back music files stored in either type of “Memory Stick” media in the Audio Player application. However, you must use a “MagicGate Memory Stick” media to play back ATRAC3-format audio files on your CLIÉ handheld.
