Making a Bluetooth connection
You need to connect your CLIÉ handheld and the remote controlled digital still camera or camcorder via Bluetooth.
Make sure you have your CLIÉ handheld and the remote controlled digital still camera or camcorder ready for a Bluetooth communication.
Refer also to the instruction manual of the connected digital still camera or camcorder.

On the CLIE Launcher screen, rotate the Jog Dial navigator to select RemoteCam and press the Jog Dial navigator.
Or, tap the RemoteCam icon on the CLIE Launcher screen.
The Remote Camera application starts.

Tap Search or Quick Search.
A search for Bluetooth devices starts.
• Search: Starts searching for all Bluetooth devices currently available.
Select the digital still camera or camcorder you are using from the Discovery Results screen.
• Quick Search: Displays the Discovery Results screen listing previously connected Bluetooth devices.
Select Quick Search to connect faster when you are using a previously connected digital still camera or camcorder.




Notes

Select the digital still camera or camcorder you are connecting to when a number of devices are listed on the Discovery Result screen.
•
If an error message dialog box appears on the screen, check the Bluetooth connection setting of the digital still camera or camcorder.

Tap to select a connecting device, then tap OK.
The connection is complete.
