You can send and retrieve messages and data via a connected GSM wireless device using the Short Message Service (SMS) application. This gives you a two-way paging wireless technology, and an easy way to read and respond to messages that have arrived on your wireless device.

You can send messages from your CLIÉ™ handheld via a connected GSM wireless device, such as a mobile phone.

There are some limitations when sending files via SMS.

You do not need to install the phone driver on your CLIÉ™ handheld, since it is pre-installed at the factory. For the latest information on the phone driver, visit the support website indicated in “Support Information for CLIÉ™ handheld and Applications.”
