Be sure to install the Image Converter software from the Installation CD-ROM provided on your computer. After installation, the shortcut icon appears on the desktop display.

Follow the steps below to transfer image files from your computer.

Insert “Memory Stick™” media into your CLIÉ™ handheld and connect it to your computer using the USB cable.

Start the Data Import application on your CLIÉ™ handheld, and then tap the Connect button to connect to your computer.

On your computer, right-click the image file icon and then select "convert for CLIE" from the drop-down menu.
The Image Converter software starts.
You can also drag and drop the image file to the Image Converter icon on your computer desktop (skip to step 6 if this is the case).

Click Add to List and select the image file that you want to transfer to your CLIÉ™ handheld.
Or, drag and drop the image file on the Image Converter dialog box.

Select an image file and click Output to Memory Stick.
The Memory Stick dialog box is displayed.
If you want to change the image file settings such as image quality, click Settings and make changes.

Select the arrow
 to the right of Saving Drive and select the Memory Stick drive. |

Click OK.
The selected image is transferred to your CLIÉ™ handheld.

Tap Disconnect on your CLIÉ™ handheld when the transfer is complete.

When you use these programs, PGP files are stored in the “/PALM/PROGRAMS/PICTUREGEAR/” folder.
To use sample images
When you install Image Converter on your computer, a shortcut icon for the sample image folder appears on the desktop.

Double-click the shortcut icon to use the sample images stored in this folder.
