Giga Pocket Plugin Ver.3.1

The Giga Pocket Plugin is a software application for Sony VAIO® computers.
If you are using a Sony VAIO® computer with the Giga Pocket software (Ver.2.0 or later) installed, you can view TV programs stored on your computer with your CLIÉ handheld by converting files using this application.
Giga Pocket Plugin functions
You can convert movie images to the format compatible for your CLIÉ handheld. The converted image files are transferred to a “Memory Stick™” media.
Compatible file formats
You can convert movie files recorded by using the Giga Pocket software (Ver.2.0 or later) to the format compatible to your CLIÉ handheld.
To play the converted movie image files on your CLIÉ handheld, use the Kinoma Player 2 application (for supported areas only). You must install Kinoma Player 2 from the Installation CD-ROM provided.

On movie images
When you convert movie images using the Giga Pocket Plugin software, you can store the data for following length of time on a “Memory Stick™ ” media (not supplied).

Note
You need to install the Giga Pocket Plugin software to your computer using the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window appears.
If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows® Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click CLIE Image from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for the Giga Pocket Plugin software.
The software installation starts.
Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the installation.

Click Finish.
The installation is complete.

To view the Help, click Start, select Programs (All Programs in Windows® XP), Giga Pocket, Plugin, and then click Convert to CLIE Help.
