You can take notes or write down various information on the Memo Pad. You can also copy and use memos in other applications. Memos can be sorted into categories such as “Business” or “Personal”.

You can copy TXT (.txt)- or CSV (.csv, Comma Separated Value)-format document files created on your computer to your CLIÉ™ handheld via a HotSync^® operation. For example, you can save documents and articles that you have found on the Internet in text format and read it later on your CLIÉ™ handheld using this function.

A record or “memo” can contain up to 4,000 characters.
