SSL (Encrypted Communications)
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is a technology to encrypt communications. NetFront and SSL-compliant Webpages communicate with encrypted data, preventing interception by third parties.
Data is encrypted when you enter credit card number and personal data, under this technology.
SSL-Compliant Webpages
An icon indicating "SSL communicating" is displayed while browsing SSL-compliant Webpages. The roles of the icon are described here.
1 Open an SSL-compliant Webpage, and the icon () appears at the top right of the browsing screen. It indicates that it is in SSL communication mode.
2 Tap the icon () to show the SSL server certificate.
