Getting ready: Installing CLIE Mail Conduit

Tip

You do not need to install the CLIE Mail application on your CLIÉ™ handheld, since it is pre-installed at the factory.

To synchronize e-mail messages between your computer and your CLIÉ™ handheld, you must install the CLIE Mail Conduit software. Install the CLIE Mail Conduit software from the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

1	Insert the Installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. The installation launcher window appears. If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon in Windows^® Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.
2	Click CLIÉ Utilities from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.
3	Click the Install button for the CLIE Mail Conduit software. The software installation starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4	Click Finish on the installation launcher window. The installation is complete. Restart your computer.
