The CLIE Album application is pre-installed at the factory.
However, you need to install the CLIE Album Plugin from the supplied Installation CD-ROM to exchange albums with the PictureGear Studio software or to make backups on your computer.
Follow the steps below to install the CLIE Album Plugin.
CLIE Album functions
CLIE Album Ver.1.1
Using the CLIE Album application, you can manage files stored on your CLIÉ handheld or on “Memory Stick” media in following ways:
| • | Paste image from the the CLIE Camera S application or the CLIE Viewer application to a page in an album. |

| • | Write in comments on a page. |
| • | Back up albums on your computer. |
| • | Exchange files with PictureGear Studio software installed on your computer. |
| • | Print still images on a page from a printer connected directly to the cradle of your CLIÉ handheld. |
| • | Output and view still images on your TV. |
Note
Before performing any operation in this application, be sure to set the date and time correctly on your CLIÉ handheld, since this information is used to manage albums on the CLIE Album application.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. The installation launcher window appears.If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon in Windows Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe. |

Click the Install CLIÉ Album Plugin button.
The software installation starts.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The installation is complete. Restart your computer. |

“Memory Stick” media (optional): You can store albums created with the CLIE Album application on “Memory Stick” media. You can also paste images stored on the “Memory Stick” media to albums stored on the same “Memory Stick” media.

Printer Driver: You can print out still images on a page directly from your CLIÉ handheld using the supplied USB cable. Before connection, be sure to install the Printer Driver to your CLIÉ handheld.

PictureGear Studio Ver.1.0: You can store and manage albums that you have created with the CLIE Album application using the PictureGear Studio software installed on your computer.

CLIE Album Plugin: You can transfer albums to your computer and edit using the PictureGear Studio software, or back up albums to your computer by installing the CLIE Album Plugin on your computer.
