CLIE Organizer - Date Book menu items
This section describes the menu commands specific to CLIE Organizer - Date Book. For menu items common to other CLIE applications, see “Common menu items” in the Handbook provided with your CLIÉ™ handheld.
Day View, Week View, Month View, 6 Month View
Record menu
Purge
Specify a certain period based on the current date and discard any events recorded before the specified date. [Details]
Import
Imports the vCalendar-format file from "Memory Stick™" media to add the data on the Date Book. [Details]
Day menu
Day Color
Specifies the special day. For example, you can select the color for your birthday. [Details]
Week Color
Specifies the settings for the day of the week. [Details]
Holiday
Specifies the color for the holiday. [Details]
Delete Handwritten Data
(Day view, Week view, Month view)
Deletes all the handwritten notes and contents displayed on Date Book screen. [Details]
Options menu
Font
Changes the size of fronts
Preferences
Displays the Preferences dialog box.
Default View
Specifies the screen view of CLIE Organizer - Date Book.
Week Starts
Specifies the start day of the week. [Details]
Date Format
Specifies the format of the date at the top left of the screen.
•  CLIE Custom: This is the default.
•  Prefs: Applies the day format specified in Preferences.
Default Color
Specifies the event's color when you schedule a new event.
Alarm Preset
Tap the check box for Alarm Preset to automatically set the alarm for a new event. You can set an alarm by specifying minutes, hours or days before 0:00 am of the scheduled date.
Alarm Sound
Specifies the alarm sound.
Remind Me
Specify this item to sound alarm several times. You select from Once, Twice, 3 Times, 5 Times, and 10 Times.
Play Every
Specify the span between the alarms. You can select from 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes.
Show Contents Icon
Displays an icon if the contents, such as a photo taken for the day, is displayed on the screen.
Day View Prefs
(Day view only)
Displays the Day View Prefs dialog box.
Start Time, End Time
Specifies the start time and end time.
Hour Height
Specifies the volume (Low, Mid, High) and interval (30 min or Hour) for displaying the time.
•  Mid (30min) and Height (30min); The interval is 30 minutes.
•  Low, Mid, High: The interval is one hour.
Note
When you specify Hour Height, the Free Notes item may become misaligned on Date Book.
Event Display
Specifies how the event is scheduled on the screen.
Example: 8:00-9:00 am Morning lunch
•  NO Time: Displays "Morning lunch"
•  Start Only: Displays "8:00 am Morning lunch".
•  Start-End: Displays "8:00 am - 9:00 am Morning lunch".
Drag&Drop Event
Tap check box to drag and drop the event with the stylus.
Week View Prefs
(Week view only)
Displays the Week View Prefs dialog box.
Tap Day Area to Day View
Tap the check box to display the Day view when you tap the day.
Tap Day Area to Day View in the Week View Prefs dialog box is the same as Tap Day Area to Day View in the Month View Prefs dialog box.
Show Event Attribute
Tap the check box to display the event attributes on the Week view.
Month View Prefs
(Month view only)
Displays the Month View Prefs dialog box.
Tap Day Area to Day View
Tap the check box to display the Day view when you tap the day.
Event Display Style
Selects the item showing the event on the Month view.
Security
Protects the data on CLIE Organizer - Date Book. For details on how to use Security, see "Entering a password" in Handbook.
CLIE Organizer Prefs
Displays the CLIE Organizer Prefs dialog box.
•  Assign to Home: Starts CLIE Organizer.
•  Back select tab: Press the Back button to change the selected tab.
About CLIE Organizer
Shows the version information for CLIE Organizer.
Event Details dialog box
Event menu
Beam Event
Beams the current event to another Palm-OS® device via infrared communications port. [Details]
Send Event
Sends the current event to another Palm-OS® device using the Bluetooth® wireless technology. [Details]
(for models containing the Bluetooth® wireless technology only)
Export
Saves the event on "Memory Stick™" media. The data is saved in the vCalendar format. [Details]
